According to a 2022 research report: Plant-Based Diets and Cancer Prognosis: A Review of Recent Research, https://link.springer.com/article/10.1007/s13668-022-00440-1 a Higher intake of Plant-Based Foods, is linked to the improved prognosis in Cancer Survivors. The High Intake of Whole Grains and Fibers resulted in better survival for Colorectal Cancer Survivors.
For patients with Breast Cancer, a Higher Intake of Fruits, Vegetables, and fiber and a Moderate Intake of Soy Foods is associated with a better survival outcome.
A higher Vegetable Fat intake was associated with a better Prognosis for the Prostate Cancer Survivors.
In Conclusion, This research shows promising results with more Plant-Based Foods for Cancer Survivors, however, more research is needed to confirm these results.
